SD Custom Design

I bought my first Crosman in 2000. It was a second-hand Ratcatcher. I didn’t have a clue back then, until I stumbled across all the American airgun forums that were full of info on how to tune these guns. After that I was hooked. Very soon my second-hand Ratcatcher was fitted with a longer barrel, steel DAQ breech, longer bolt probe and mega silencer.

Since then, I have spent a great deal of time researching the different models available and what can be done to them, and more importantly, what you can buy to improve them. I have also tried to find out as much as I can about CO2 because this is the key to knowing how to get the best from these guns.

Every time I have tuned another Crosman, I have learnt something new on how to get the best from it. I have tuned around 20 different guns now, including rifles, pistols and pump guns, some of which you can see in the gallery. Many different people have seen my guns and I have had many e-mails asking for advice and where I had bought a certain part they had seen on one of my guns, hence the reason for starting SD Custom Design.
